Accommodation

We have 52 beautifully decorated, spacious bedrooms in the Rowallan wing, split over four floors and connected by a modern lift.

The bedrooms all enjoy en-suite facilities with shower, WC and wash basin. The great majority of our rooms are singles but a small number of spacious twins are available on request.

Every room has a wall mounted, swivel TV and a nurse call system in addition to a single bed, a lockable bedside cabinet, a chest of drawers, a spacious wardrobe and a comfortable day chair. Residents may bring pictures, photographs and ornaments to personalise their rooms.

Each floor has its own attractive day room and the garden floor also has an activities room.

This houses a cinema screen and computers with internet access and webcams so that residents can keep in touch with friends and family.

The other three floors have specialist spa baths with lifting hoists. The day rooms all have televisions and are supplied with a selection of weekly magazines and local newspapers.

The accommodation has been designed in consultation with the Care Commission and features hand rails in all corridors and easy access throughout for wheel chairs. We provide pressure relieving mattresses and electronically adjustable profile beds where they are required to meet residents’ needs.

Springhill has a spacious outside courtyard and garden area with seating which can be enjoyed by residents and visitors whenever the weather permits!
