Springhill Home is a family owned and run care home.
We provide excellent nursing and residential care for the elderly in a wonderful setting. Our home has the convenience of being within walking distance of the centre of Kilmarnock but is set back from the main road in a peaceful garden area.
The original part of the home is a beautiful Georgian building which was designed for the town’s leading industrialist family in the 1830’s, the Finnies.
In October 2009 we opened the Rowallan wing, a fabulous new extension at the back of the home which houses 52 modern and spacious en-suite bedrooms. We are able to offer residents and their families the best of both worlds - the very best modern care facilities set within historic surroundings.
Following the completion of the Rowallan wing, our next step is to refurbish the Georgian part of the building. We plan to modernise this wing whilst preserving all the lovely period features such as pillars, arches and cornicing. Once completed, the home will then offer the ultimate combination of modern facilities and historic grandeur. |
